We will need admin access to your WordPress website to test and troubleshoot on special occasions.
You can grant us access using our Plugin Manager, or manually.
Using Our Plugin Manager #
This our preferred method. To grant us access using our Plugin Manager follow the following steps:
- Activate our Plugin Manager on your website.
- Navigate to the Support tab.
- Click the “Create a temporary login link” button.
- Click on the link icon on the right to copy the link to your clipboard.
- Paste the temporary login link in the support ticket.
If you want to manually grant us an admin role without using our Plugin Manager, follow the instructions in the next section.
Without the Plugin Manager #
- From the backend of your website, navigate to Users -> Add New User.
- Enter PluginsForWP as the username and [email protected] as the email address. Also, generate a password for us and copy it to your clipboard. You’ll need to use it on step #4.
- Set the Role to Administrator and click the Add New User button.
- Return to the support ticket and paste the generated password from step #2 and your website’s login link.
You can delete our user or change us to a Subscriber role once we finished to work on your website.
